possible safety precautions are taken to minimize the radiation risks to the personnels  who are involved in handling of Radioisotopes. Radiation doses are regularly monitored and minimized by using latest equipment and procedures. Radiation protection officer ensures that the NDE procedures are up to date and in line with international standards and safe practices. Where as, our site incharges(s) are responsible for implementation of the relevant policies and procedures.

  The Equipment has:

  • Rebound value of concrete

  • Measurement of approximate compressive strength of concrete

  • Computer  connectivity for data download

Purpose of use

Non Destructive Compressive Testing of the following:

  • In situ field test

  • Base (foundations), RCC walls

  • Columns, Beams, Slabs & RCC structure, etc.

2. TICO: Ultrasonic Instrument 

The Equipment is used to obtain information about the properties of concrete by ultrasonic investigations: 

  • Uniformity of the concrete

  • Cavities, cracks, defects due to fire, frost and aging

  • Modulus of elasticity

  • Accurate measurement of compressive strength of concrete

Purpose of use

Non Destructive Testing of the following:

  • In situ field test

  • Base (foundations), RCC walls

  • Columns, Beams, Slabs & RCC structure, etc.

Digital Schmidt Hammer and Tico Ultrasonic Instrument are used in collaboration for higher accuracy level.

3. Rebar Locator / Profometer 5, S/SCANLOG
